Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Visit the sign-up page and register with your email and a password, or sign in with Google. You'll receive a verification email — confirm it before logging in.
I didn't get the verification or password reset email
Check your spam folder. If it's not there, request a new email from the login screen. Some corporate mail servers delay delivery by a few minutes. If it still hasn't arrived after 15 minutes, email us at [email protected].
How do I invite teammates to a project?
Open the project, choose Members, and enter your teammate's email address. They'll receive an invitation; if they don't have an account yet, the invitation auto-accepts as soon as they sign up with that email.
How do I connect Google Calendar?
First, make sure you're signed in to Tickbox with Google (not email and password). Then open Profile → Calendar and click Connect Google Calendar. You'll be redirected to Google to grant access. Calendar reminders use your device's local time.
How do recurring tasks work?
When creating a task, set a recurrence (daily, weekly, monthly, or custom). New instances are generated automatically as each occurrence comes due. Editing a recurring task only affects future occurrences.
Can I use Tickbox on mobile and web at the same time?
Yes — your data syncs across the iOS app and the web at tickbox.work. Sign in with the same account on each device.
How do I change my password?
Go to Profile → Account → Change password. If you're locked out, use the password reset link on the login page.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your tasks, projects you own, and all personal data within 30 days. Projects you're a member of (but don't own) remain with the project owner.
Is my data private?
Yes. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How many people can I have in a workspace?
Tickbox is designed for teams of up to 30 people. If you need a larger workspace, email [email protected] and we'll see what we can do.
